About Rubigen
Rubigen B.V. has developed a strontium-82/rubidium-82 generator. The rubidium-82 from this generator is used for measurement of the myocardial perfusion with positron emission tomography (PET). Rubigen's generator is placed, maintained, and loaded with strontium-82 in hospitals, interested in using rubidium-82 for patient care. Loading and maintenance are the full responsibility of Rubigen B.V.. The generator is reloaded every 4 weeks to a maximum of two times and can be used over a 12 week period. In this way less of the hard to buy strontium-82 is required. Rubigen B.V. received a GMP certificate from the Dutch Health Care Inspectorate (IGJ) and applied for marketing authorization. The generator is in clinical use for over 6 years now at the Jeroen Bosch hospital in 's-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands.
Rubigen B.V. is licensed by the Dutch Authority for Nuclear Safety and Radiation Protection (ANVS),
